GEEEEEZ, "up north" is great.... Down here by the "cities", there would be grief councilors needed for those that "felt threatened" by your post! Good for you!

Last year I took the Calculus class shooting. It was fun.

OK, we went yesterday (Friday, 11-2)...considering it was the day before hunting started, we had a nice turnout...7 folks. (From a teaching staff of about 18).

One had never fired a gun before. He fell in love with the Thompson. One avid shooter now thinks that bump firing is his new most fun thing to do; one (that politically thinks Obama is too conservative), had great fun and wants to get a revolver.

I did not spend even one moment discussing self-defense use....just the fun of target shooting. We can't wait until Spring to try again... The Supt. did not come, but had no issues with his staff making holes. Saw a fair number of student parents at the range getting sighted in...a great time.
