Actually, I was talking about the 1911, although if I recall correctly, the front sight on a real USP Match is on the slide, not the comp (which is open on top). You can tell on the 1911 by the size of the rail, plus it says made in Taiwan on the side. In any case, the jab was intended to be in good nature.

oh i know it was good nature, and actually those pix are not real pix from my collection, but the 1911 is actually a Kimber that was mfg for the USMC MEU, det 1

There's also a drum-style rotary magazine, but I'd have to take the gun apart to show it to you.

Uh, you do know how easy that is? Almost as simple as removing the bolt on either of my M-Ss. Press something into the hole in the floorplate, turn the floorplate 90 degrees and pull straight out from the rifle. Now a Model 99 Savage with a rotary mag is a whole 'nother story...especially putting it back together.

Here's a pic of one of the mags, with rounds placed into it to give anyone left wondering earlier an idea of how it works (you can't have the mag loaded out of the rifle in the normal detachable magazine manner and my thumb was the only thing keeping it from throwing rounds all over the place when the photo was snapped). Probably would've been easier to just take a shot of a filled transparent 10/22 mag, as it's the same general principle.

Yes, I know. I was just too lazy. You must have a nicer camera than I do --- my photo wouldn't have turned out that clear.
