Shooting Ranges

Anyone know of indoor or outdoor ranges in the metro area? I live in Roseville, MN. I would appreciate reviews on any you recommend.

Where you live bills is probably your best bet. Nice range, lots of merchandice too.

They used to have decent prices on ammo, when you just wanted to pick up a box to shoot at the range, but they are selling 9mm for $20 a 50 rnd box (S&B brand). I mean come on!

If you rent their guns (something you can't do at burnsville) you have to use their ammo. It's a nice way to try out various makes and calibers.

No aluminum cased ammo at Bills (e.g. blazer). But you can shoot it at burnsville (where S&B 9mm is 14.50 a box of 50 rnds)

I like to shoot at Metro Gun Club in Blaine. They have a 50ft indoor range, pretty basic but it gets the job done. I am a member so the rates are pretty good. They also have shotgun if you are interested.

Probably too far north but I like Isanti County Sportsmens Club. Outdoor, have pistol, rifle and shotgun. Only the membership fee, no fees for shooting.

Oakdale Gun Club is an outdoors shooting facility in the East Metro. Weekends starting in June they're open to the public 8a - 4:30p. $15 per shooter all day.

Also, when you get done shooting at Metro you can have a beer at the bar.

Well I just assumed they wouldn't let me bring my beer with me into the pistol range, but maybe I should have asked. But anyway there's a bar in the club.

This is awesome, but sadly I don't really see any I didn't know already.

What would be really good actually, is the same thing but for gun stores - especially some of these that don't have websites.
Maybe even notes about what they carry?
