Place to shoot?

Postby thewanderer on Thu Apr 29, 2010 1:51 pm

This is probably a question some of you might find offensive, but can anyone tell me if there is anywhere around the Rogers area that a Canadian tourist can go, pay for ammo & fire off a few (hundred) rounds? Done this in Vegas & am visiting some friends this weekend & since it's virtually impossible to get a handgun up here, I'd like to take my wife & let a few rounds go.

No, I'm not some irresponsible headcase child that just wants to shoot guns, I'm a 33 year old man, who just enjoys it, however, getting a handgun permit up here is quite the task & hardly worth it.

Thanks

+1 on Bill's Gun shop. They have plenty of rentals and from Rodgers would only be about 30-45 Minute drive. Plus if you want uber cool, you could rent a machinegun or two and have some real fun Image

I'd suggest sticking to one or two calibers, so you can switch the guns out. You pay up to 2 or 3 rental fees then you can just bring them back and check out another gun. Sticking to a caliber or two means you don't have to keep buying a whole box of ammo for a particular gun.

9mm or 45 is usually a good bet. .40 isn't bad either.

you can also shoot shotguns and rifles as well. have fun'!
