where are good gun smiths?

i am looking at both pistol and rifle (.22). i believe it would be minor repair. they are my father's and i offered to help see about repairing them.

Larry Dullum in Anoka is very good. I do not have his number handy but if you call Bill's Gun Shop at 763-792-4867 they can give you the number.

I'll second Bob at Joe's in Roseville. Other than Butch, he's the only gunsmith that has looked at my Glock, he wouldn't just sell me the part I needed he pretty much demanded that he put it in for free on the spot.

I believe they are actually Maplewood... however, they say St. Paul.

County B is the Little Canada/Maplewood border, so since Joe's is on the North side of B, they are technically in Little Canada. However, it seems that the Post Office can't get it straight. In that area, it seems that all the ZIP codes resolve to St. Paul. My mail and packages come through the Roseville Post Office, but are often addressed "St. Paul". For that matter, the Post Office has a different spelling for my street than is on the street signs! I don't really know who is correct.
