For the money, this is probably the best deal out there for a competition trigger.

If you know how to take a Glock completely down it is easy to install.
I'm NOT an official Glock armorer but I have installed quite a few of these things for other Glock competitors.

If you get out this way, you're welcome to try one out. I have them in my three main competition Glocks. My defensive Glocks have the factory triggers in them. ;)
Yeah, but I shoot with THIS hand.

Keith makes a key point, if you choose to significantly alter your gun it becomes a competition gun, and one you should not carry for self defense. All of my Glocks have the extended mag release and slide release but the defensive guns are box stock guns in terms of trigger and action.

If you like the Glock I suggest the Glock 34 for competition and you can modify it as you like. It has worked out pretty well for Davis Sevigny, with its longer barrel, cut out slide and Tru Glow fiber optics with tritium NS you have a great competion gun, indoors or out. You are welcome to try my G34 but it is good coaching, training and practice that will make the biggest difference, not equipment. The other option is to have some Lasik for the old eyes, new hip joint and maybe some carpal tunnel sugery, our Twin Cities shooters have had all 3 in the past year

Thanks for all the good input, guys! I really was just wondering aloud here, since I haven't figured out yet what exactly I want to do. One of my main questions was exactly the one that several addressed (which is why I love you guys--you are always thinking and always willing to share wisdom) regarding a defensive gun versus a competition gun. I see that I will have to think about this more...

I hear that! I had lasik about 5 years ago and already back to the place where I have to get glasses again. Still stalling out the left hip replacement. The wrists are pretty good but both knees are bad. If I had ever thought I was going to get this old I would have taken better care of myself!

Thanks guys all!
