Who does cheapest transfers?

Postby 45Badger on Mon Nov 15, 2010 6:14 pm

Bought a used handgun out of state. Need a receiving FFL. Anybody know a FFL near Chanhassen or Hopkins who will do it for $20 or less? Thanks!

BIngo! I'm cheap, but even I know that I shouldn't drive 45 minutes round trip and spend $7 in gas to save $5  .

Any kitchen table FFLs in Wayzata, Chanhassen, Hopkins, EP, Chaska?

From what I understand some of these FFL's charge you $20 the first time but if you keep goin back to them they will slash the price

In what world is Shakopee a 45 min drive RT from Chanhassen? It's 7 miles.

Deal with a forum member, who is trusted, and support a local business. If you ask really nice, I bet he will meet you somewhere.

^Yep, this is the Rick Kay guy I was talking about. I've done a couple transfers through him. He's decent to deal with, though he may try to sell you something instead of you finding an auction and bidding on it. Since you've already made the purchase I don't imagine that would be a problem.

Yeah he doesn't make much off the FFL transfers... If you want a firearm ASAP buying it from him is a good way to go if it's not available in local stores and you don't want to wait very long for shipping. I called on a Thursday about a transfer of pistol I was going to buy online, he charged $20 or so dollars more, but it was available Monday for pickup.
