Parking at any of the ramps is going to be around ten dollars.

Is that really that big of a deal?

Give the cheapasssofrugalwesqueak behavior here, yes 8-) .

It means the ammo dealer has to give me a free box of 45acp just to cover walking in the door (not to mention gas and breakfast  )

every time i've ever been, it says no loaded weapons allowed but the signs aren't compliant to carry - i don't believe they are attempting to limit carry just guns coming in the door for show purposes ??? anyone care to chime in some clarity?

They don't want you to carry loaded firearms. At all. The reasoning being, and not completely unfounded, is that you have .001% of permit holders who just can't restrain themselves from unlimbering their loaded carry gun and comparing it to something for sale, trying out a holster, checking to see if a magazine will fit, etc.

I think a better method would be to red tape carry guns as you enter or other methods I've seen at out-of-state shows

Concealed is concealed.

I've never had an issue.

Are there any plans for a pre-show breakfast of any sort?

i guess that was my point - they dont WANT you too but as far as i can tell you're not violating anything by doing so. i'm no expert, do not look to me for an answer. remember what you paid for this information. i'm not saying you should or shouldn't...

As far as I'm aware, all they could do is ask you to leave.

Personally, I always carry (concealed) at those shows.
