Mark and I must have been near a Gopher attendee. Not sure if t was an SBD or the ambient noise level covered the muzzle blast, but someone dropped a long and frightful vapor trail :hide:

That vapor trail was probably from me :)

Nah, you weren't around for that bombing run.

I started looking for the baby with the full diaper, I got a full whiff of some serious nastiness down one aisle.

I'm wondering the same thing. I will be there about 10am tomorrow.

John's near the middle of the hall next to the Blue Line Defense booth - which you can recognize with the rotating blue lights...

I wonder if many will come tomorrow with weather being a factor.

Heffay: Any Garand slings or 1903 hardware anywhere?

I picked up a very nice Chris Reeves Sebenza...

When my wife asked what I got at the show, I just said "a letter opener..."

Essential Arms also had good prices on windowed P-mags.

From George at Straight River? GREAT guy. I bought an Reeve Umnumzaan from him last year, and I'll be ordering a Zero Tolerance fixed blade from him shortly.

I saw a setup on the left side with 4 or 5 Garands in a vertical display. They all had slings, including the same leather shooting sling that I have on my M1A (with the hook thingies and the carry vs shooting change thing). I'd tell you the name of the vendor, BUT NOBODY BOTHERED TO IDENTIFY THEIR STINKING TABLES! ;)

Some of the slings were green cotton webbing though and looked as old as hell. I don't know what a 1903 is. I don't know if slings were available separately either.

Yep, and yes, he is.

I bought my first Reeves from him a few years ago...then my first Benchmade...and several others since. They're addictive.

I have a hard time buying a knife from anyone else...

Funny, the only thing I wanted at the show was a Chris Reeve knife, the Pacific I think it was. I wish I would have never picked the damn thing up because now it will haunt me until I have one of my own.
