I am actually upset about that. The fact this guy is going through the trouble of trying to legally purchase a firearm should be commended. Our society generally forces the law abiding to follow increasingly complex regulations and restrictions. It's also fairly easy to get a felony in the wrong circumstances, and disenfranchisement and deprivation of civil rights once your term has been served generally haunts a person their entire life.

You can also defend your house if someone is committing a felony in it....

and it can be a felony to have someone cheat on income tax....

So have the in-laws over and watch em cheat on their taxes....
