I am reminded of a question I had when I first saw this photo:
The wake suggests the ship is not moving forward, but rather laterally to the left (port/ port side?). Is that in fact what is happening? Is it a reaction the the guns' recoil?

And what would happen to someone on deck when they're firing?

In proper hands, the Glock serves just as well as the 1911 - at conversational distances. And such distances are the rule in defensive combat. The Guru

AND since it came from Gunsite / Cooper, who's to argue the point. Both are great, both do the job, one looks better doing it.

I'll take a quality 1911 over a Glock anyday ! If its a good quality 1911 you won't be doing any tinkering, the design is second to none !
For carry a full size 1911 is more comfortable and more concealable than a Glock because they are nice and narrow. Glocks just seem too blocky to for carry and I don't carry IWB. My 1911 hugs my side so nice, where my Glock would be buldeging out all over. If I want to carry a striker fired gun I'd rather carry my XDM 40 3.8 .
People who are against guns will never have true freedom !
