Apparently Area 3 sucks for instruction... :?

Try:

http://www.frankgarciausa.com

Buy yourself a Video camera with a remote and find the best shooter you believe can help you analyse your practice.

Dry Practice in front of a mirror is a cheap and cheerful way to practice draws and reloads, then get to the range and Practice, Practice,Video, analyse, Correct and Practice the new changed patterns. I usually tell people to use this kind of practice formula: of all of your practice 50% should be dry, 25% should be live fire in your discipline and 25% should be pure precision at 25ysd and beyond.

Good Luck.

If you are "self teaching" I think the best course of action is ;

1.) Untrain yourself of all the bad habits you have developed
2.) Learn the fundamentals
3.) Learn HOW to practice. (most people dont really know how to practice)

Do you paper homework. There is a lot of it.

Splits only count if your shots hit the target. Just sayin'.

8rd ... 1.0 seconds ... 1 target ... figure 0.58 seconds from low-ready ... that's 0.06 x 7 splits ... shooting a DA revolver! :shock:

Although, watching the video, I'm guessing they subtracted the time to the first shot. :? ... 0.14 x 7 splits. Image

too much math but, agreed. reaction time on the best day is .3 to .4 then gun up then fire. They must have taken from the first shot. Nothing against the guy, Jerry is a super legend and a super nice dude! :)
