Had a great time, third year in a row. Definitely the best event yet. Ahlman's is a much better site and the safety was vastly improved. Lots of prizes and overall run very well.

Will get some pics up...you can see me for about .1 second at 00:06 in this video. That's my hand and muzzle on the right.

Never heard of this until now. It looked like fun.

In that first video, did you really do a pinch reload? :)

Didn't notice that until now, but yes, the video has not been modified. I've only been shooting pistols about a year and at times my mechanics aren't perfect I guess....but I usually hit my target.

Never heard of it??? They need to do a better job of advertising it I guess...

I was there. Brought my Brother-in-law along. Shot most of the stages except the one on the 100-yrd range as the line never seemed to be shorter than 1-2 hours long.

On all the others, I don't think I waited more than maybe 15 minutes. Massive improvement over the last couple of years. Almost doubled the number of shooting stages and most of them were moderately challenging.

Great turnout and a really well run event. Kudos to DPMS, Ahlmans, the Morristown Gun Club, and all the other vendors who ponied up to make this event such a standout success.

Only got a couple of pics off his cell phone. Got 'em on my Facebook, but they aren't anything to write home about.

Three of us went. It was a lot of fun and the lines were not all that bad. The staff was great and my brother-in-law won a range bag full of goodies.

I forgot to put the memory card in my camera so I have no photos myself, but a lot of photos should surface as I saw a lot of people with DSLRs taking photos all day long.

I was there, had a lot of fun. This was my second.

Safety was better, the lines were shorter (mostly... there were a few that weren't well run), and overall I had more fun this year than the previous one.

There wasn't much for rifles to do, and I was a bit disappointed in that. Granted, the town setup had some "rifle and pistol" stages but they were all pistol range. It was only the single 100 yard range I could find that was really rifle based.

I enjoyed the one stage where you would knock down a steel target and a clay pigeon would pop straight up, giving you little time to engage. Actually, I enjoyed most all of it.

And at the end of the day, I won one of the double rifle bags near the end. That was just the beginning though, as I found a training class certificate inside, a coupon for a free Warne Scope Mounts RAMP mount (30mm or 1" rings my choice), the "unlimited shooting" entry/pass for SHTF1, a Troy Industries flip front sight, some Troy slings, and I'm just getting started....

Really generous prizes everywhere. They gave out 14 guns. Had I known Remington was doing that great deal, I'd have stocked and gotten a lot of free rifle ammo. I missed that part, but it's alright.

Definitely looking forward to SHTF1 now. Ahlman's was a better location for Outbreak Omega, and now I want to see how they do this next one.

I dunno about "generous" prizes. About 1/3 to 1/2 of us were told to come up and get the advertising shirt that ain't in your size at the end.

From someone who preregistered, it was not very "generous", especially when compared to DPMS's old Trigun match.

Uhhh.....the buy any Remington ammo and get a box of .223 or .308 was VERY generous... anybody could have left with hundreds of dollars in free ammo. Plus the dozen plus guns that were given away. Everyone can't win. I got one of the wrong size shirts to :D

Ahh, but the Trigun match everyone did get like $250+ of prizes. And they handed out waay more than 15 guns. But prizes were mostly awarded on order of finish. (Although they did go far enough down that even I won stuff like upper receivers...)

I guess I was just spoiled by that.

Buying ammo and getting another box free is not a prize, its a glorified 50% off sale. They sure didn't bite on selling me a box of shotshells and giving me a box of .375 300 grain A Frame loads (they laughed at that one....) Not a bad thing, but not a "prize" either.

I thought the range was neat, but since I couldn't tell where my shots went on the targets, I pretty much stuck to the clay bird stages. Can't justify to myself "practicing" without verifying where it hits. And I really could have done without the dress up contests. Sorry, 300# guys dressed up to play army with home made unit badges.... not a pretty sight.

I also don't care for the taking of money and then telling you if you don't sign a photo release your prepaid match fees are gone AND you can't shoot. (One or the other made sense, and it should have been stated in the sign up website somewhere, but I didn't see it...)

I went and I paid my $$$, signed the forms, and I brought some stuff from a few vendors, so I did what they really wanted.

Can't make everyone happy. I got a can of bacon my first year, a rifle my second year, and this year I walked out with a shoulder holster that doesn't fit my over-sized shoulders...

I was just there for the Zombies. Everything else is cake...
