Compared to anything I had been to before, including past years, it was "generous." I guess it all comes down to expectation. I usually don't win anything at events, so this was a nice change of pace for me.
As was said by others, I just came to shoot and have fun. The rest was just the bonus.
I'm not a big fan of their silly costume contest, but let the weird ones have their fun I guess.
As for seeing what you hit, there was plenty of steel target courses out there. I stuck to steel knockdown/reactive targets and clay pigeons for the most part, but did everything except the rimfire and the automatic once.
