I took the mag release out of mine....it's easy to put back in. The loaded chamber indicator was too much for me and I ended up selling it. It is a quality firearm but does require some "break in" to run smoothly....and the mags are a pain to load when new, tighter than any other mags I've dealt with.

I owned one for a couple months. Good carry weapon. I also removed the mag disconnect in mine. Made sure to reinstall it before I traded the gun for another gun.

I do prefer Springfield XD though. I can shoot them well, and carry them with no problem.
