Make sure if you ever travel to the iron range make sure to watch out for some of the local folk. They are a little different up here....

There's some pretty shady parts of Duluth. Find someone local to guide your housing hunt.

Also, might want to check Spooner too. It could be cheaper to live in the land of cheese.

Spooner? You mean Superior? I think Spooner would be a little too far for a daily commute to Duluth, but maybe not.

I second all of the supplied you'll need - chain saw, tire chains, etc. :lol:

I've got a friend that live in Oliver, Wi and works up on the hill, not too bad of a drive. Another guy I know/knew works in the Fitgers complex and lives outside of Iron River, Wi... he only works four days a week though. It's doable.
Look in West Duluth, Gary/New Duluth too, there were decent gems of neighborhoods out there too.
