kel-tec sub 2000

Postby dimachico on Mon Oct 10, 2011 9:19 pm

Does anyone know anyone who might have one of these floating around? They seem awfully impossible to get my hands on. I know Kel-Tec is a small company that seems to be currently tooled for their new shotgun, but I want a sub 2000 (9mm, glock mag). Anyone have any idea when they might become available again?

I think I have the normal internet channels covered and keep striking out.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Do you mean a SUB2000?

They're pretty scarce, most shops will probably need to put you on a waiting list, especially for the Glock version.

Timing is everything. There was one for sale most of last year at oakdale. I believe it was a glock 9mm version for $450. I don't know if he sold it or not. I'll see if I can find the news letter from last year.

Since Glock is the only gun specific of the 2000s they are hard to find. All the others can be converted to each othe but the Glock is forever Glock. Also few owners tend to sell them. My CZ version is a blast (actually officially a Sig but CZ mags work great in it.

One was $350 and one was $400 if I recall. One used the Glock 22 mags (.40) and the other I think used the Glock 17 mags (9mm).

I was in there last week and saw them, so I am not sure if they still have them,

I got one from Koscielski's some months ago - worth calling around to find one. Mine is the Glock 22 version.

I picked up a brand new Glock 9mm version off of Gunbroker about this time last year for $310 shipped.

Wouldn't mind another one, actually.
Yeah, but I shoot with THIS hand.
