I have always wanted a S&W Model 1917. I love .45 Colt. Being a poor, retired, citizen I recently had to reduce my sights to a Model 25-5. Having checked the prices on those this very poor, retired, crippled, old man is now looking for a Taurus 450 in good shape at a price I can afford.

Welcome!

I've been thinking about getting a S&W .500. I think it would look nice next to the .50AE. :)

Welcome.

Either a Sig P226(before they added the rail) or a CZ75B. I have to shoot each to decide now.
I've decided to start deer hunting so a rifle TBD later.
A Shotgun so I can retire my 11-48 from hunting service.

My first priority is a Ruger SR9 (full size). I need one of those. Not want.... NEED.

After that, I'd like an AR to complement my Mini-14 Target. I'm thinking something a little bigger than 5.56, though. But, that's just a "want" right now. After I get the SR9, that will become a need.

A Marlin 336y "Spikehorn" in 30-30... which followed me home from Capras last night.

I think this next year it will be three.

1. An AK-47. Always wanted one, no reason not to have one.

2. A suitible Deer gun for the oldest. Holland&Holland turned me on to the NEF rifles, and they seem to be a really good option. probably one of those in a suitable deer caliber.

3. Something nice for me. Havent decided yet. Probably a nice, short, light bolt rifle in a mid range caliber like .243 or 7mm-08 with decent glass.

Yeah, and maybe another Mosin or six.

Sorry. New England Firearms. It's a very safety consious single shot rifle available in many calibers.

I've heard nothing but good things about their rifles. I'm thinking about getting one in .243 or .270 and mounting a scope to use as my stand rifle.

Colt or springer 1911.

After that, well it'll be 2012 before I buy another gun.

Also, strad forgot his mare's leg.
