Cool Brownells Catalogs

Postby TC95GT on Fri Mar 21, 2008 3:47 pm

In case you need some more gun stuff to look at you may want to check out these Brownells specialty catalogs. They are located on the right side of the page linked below. Best part is they are free.

I just received the 1911 catalog and the AR15 catalog. They are about 60 pages each and the thing I really like about them is they are devoted to each individual platform respectively. You don't have to flip through a huge catalog to get to what you want.

They also have pictures of complete guns with the parts numbered on the picture. The corresponding parts are listed below with a short explanation of what it is and does. A nice feature for those like me who are considering an AR and get overwhelmed with all the "stuff" available. The 1911 catalog is set up the same.

I don't work for or with Brownells.

That is the thick Brownells master catalog they charge you for. I think they send it free if you order. It's the top one on the righ.

The free ones are the next three just under the main catalog. The AR15, 1911 and weapons supply and maintenance tools.

I went through the several steps involved in ordering the special catalogs, and at the end they wanted to charge me $5 for shipping...

They must have just changed it. :( I got my 1911 catalog at the end of last week and paid NO shipping. I also picked up the AR15 catalog for free with no shipping.

I recently ordered the AR, 1911, and the large master catalog and yes they charged me $5.00 for shipping but they also send you a coupon for $5.00 off a purchase, so if you buy something you get your money for the catalog back.
