I want way more guns than I can afford to buy. the short list is a stainless 1911, AK-47, AR-15, lever action rifle in a center fire pistal cal. The list goes on from there.

Another pre-64 Winchester 1894, a Colt 1911 .38 super with the "ultra blinding highly polished" SS finish...or even one with that finish and some nice factory engraving, a Ruger Vaquero or Ruger single six with fancy factory engraving, an AR (once I figure out which brand and caliber I want...possibly Colt or LMT), and probably a bunch of other really nice, expensive firearms that I can't afford!

I'll play:

I'm always on the lookout for the Remington 5-teen series (510,511,512,513,514) for a fair price,
Inexpensive older Marlin .22's turn my crank (TACKDRIVERS!!),
First handgun Ruger SP101, followed by a .22 revolver, and then a steel semi-auto either a 1911 platform or a CZ75B,
I could find a use for a few more 870's in various guages,
Someday I'd like to get a .25-06, but that'll be a few years off I'm sure.

I fear once I get into handguns, I'll buy fewer .22's.

Sorry. New England Firearms. It's a very safety consious single shot rifle available in many calibers.

i hope their quality has improved in the last 20 years. when i was 9, dad got a NEF 410ga single shot for me. that pile-o-**** was so poorly made, nobody could hit a clay with it! then we set up a target at 25 yards, and with a trap-load only 5-6 pellets hit on the very left edge. brought it back into Fleet Farm in BP, raised a little hell, and walked out with a Rem 870 express 20ga youth model and a slightly lighter wallet. never looked back

What guns are you currently looking to buy?

Postby PhilaBOR on Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:52 pm

I want to retire with a range membership and pallets of ammo.
Until then, I like shooting my Springer 1911, my folding 10-22 and my M&P 9, 40, or 357sig, among others. BTW, I have a Sub2000, it's purpose is manageable SHTF gun for recoil shy members of household. Just need to get M&P grip/mag well for it.

Ruger has released poly mags for the Gunsite Scout. So add that gun to my list.

I'd like to find a Benelli M1S90 Tactical...HK marked a bonus.

Also have the itch for a 9mm carbine; Uzi or HK94.

If that hex receiver Tula is still at FF on payday, I might just have to grab it and take it to the range. :?

Well yeah, but that one wasn't a Tula. Duh.

Besides, the one you're talking about is a Christmas present from the SO, and she won't let me take it to the range until after Christmas.
