NICS check delayed for Ruger 10/22

If you don't get an answer either way, it becomes an approve after 5 days automatically.

Some companies like scheels treat it as a deny though and won't sell you the gun. Just company policy for them

That's strange considering the ATF specifically says to complete the transaction if no reply is received.

The NICS examiner only says the dealer MAY transfer the firearm. They are not required to.
