It increases the rate of fire at which the trigger can be pulled - the law says nothing about whether or not you use your finger. I wish the best of luck to them and their customers. Personally I'm going to wait a few years before even thinking about getting one.

The consensus is that it might be illegal, but a dealer in MN sells them and they have a letter from the ATF stating they are legal but no one wants to buy one in case the ATF reverses their decision or MN decides to crack down? Do I have that right?
FYI, some folks are fairly confident that our current ability to own firearms may be reduced in the future so to protect everyone here from potential prosecution, I hereby volunteer to take possesion of everyone's firearm collections (for a small storage fee of course). Please PM me to arrainge pick up and negotiate range fees er I mean storage fees.

If you are worried, my offer stands. I can be there tonight to pick up your contraband.

I'm short on cash to pay the storage fee. Would you consider ammo in trade?

Minnesota statutes are fairly clear that this sort of device is illegal. Even though it has BATFE approval it's still illegal in Minnesota.
