I heard that too. They were dual wielding Glocks and Hi-Points. And their sniper had a Mosin.

AFTER reading the book and seeing how the company was run and how people who were integral parts of getting the gun made in the first place and then distributed widely in the US were treated I'll never buy one.
Gaston Glock basically used people to get ahead and threw them away when he was finished. He sold guns to police departments in large part by corrupting law enforcement officials, flying them in and taking them to strip clubs, etc.
He deliberately set up shell companies around the world to evade taxes. They guy is crookeder than Enron.
I'll buy from someone else, thanks.

Most every time I hear this type of rhetoric the person spewing he/she has never either tried it or really doesn’t even know the person. Many times they base it on what they heard. I am sure some have never actually tried or given a Glock a real chance and trash it any way and I am sure some have put it through the test and decided it was not for them. As I said I may be a freak of nature but all guns seem to point well enough for me that I would, if I had to defend myself with it. That being said the most important thing is does the gun jam or empties the magazine. Nothing out of the box equals Glocks history for function? When I train at Front sight and or most any other place where I have an instructor, the gun in the holster of most instructors is a Glock, next is usually a 1911 clone or the real thing. If a gun jams and holds up the range at front sight it is not a Glock that is a fact! Guns are a personal thing to many people; to me they are a tool my guns look like it too “used”. Arguing about whether Glock sucks is like “I like Ford better than Chevy” no point. I just wonder about this: it took Glock 24 years to sell 2.5 million guns, 1911 well since 1911 to do the same or close. I also took 1911 most likely a hundred manufactures to do it, Glock just one! A guy said in this thread I bet people own more than one Glock when I said 2.5 million were sold? As if people don’t own more than one 1911? I own 3. I just read the book again to see if I missed anything, as I started this thread to talk about the book, I found it interesting reading. If you already “hate Glocks” you will not read it anyway. But I thought it was a great reading experience. I have also read books about 1911, Beretta, XD and more, all guns I do not carry but I am interested in their history. I sure know a lot more about Glock because of this book.
