I would go with my S&W M&P 15-22. I have sent a few emails to my representatives and they both responded saying they would join the movement if it were brought up in a bill.

Interesting that it only goes from 160ish to 130ish dB in noise.

Not enough to really be safe.

That's with super sonic rounds. The 9mm I shot was so quiet you could hear the bullet hit the berm. A 300 whisper or blackout would be the same when loaded subsonic. All you would hear is the bolt slapping back and forth and a little puff of gasses.

Excellent point! Supersonic loads will still be rather loud even with a suppressor. Subsonic loads through a suppressor will give you the maximum amount of sound reduction.

On another note, suppressors can make an Saturday afternoon shoot a lot more enjoyable. The first time I shot suppressed weapons was last year at a machine gun shoot in Casper WY. If the ban were to be lifted, I would definitely be getting suppressor for my MKE AT-94P. I would still first have to SBR the MKE though. Oh well, getting a stamp for a can, might as well stamp a few guns!

To be honest I think a better question would be what guns would I buy specifically to put a suppressor on? XD
Shooting better than you since 1995.

if allowed, what wouldnt I want to.
my mk11 (would have to be the full upper)
my 10/22 (same full barrel style)
my AR (a can would be fine)
my M1A (same)
would have to pick up a .45 of some sort, a ups, a sig, some 1911, the FN, that list could just keep going and going
