You think I'm an anarchist? LOL. I’m not. I know we need government. We just need less than we have right now. If we start looking for them to monitor us at the range or tell us what we have to do before we can own or use a gun, that's going in the wrong direction.
Does that mean there could be people around me that are less safe? Sure. That means I could get muzzle swept, or worse. That means I could be the one to die from a ND because someone doesn't have the knowledge or skill to use firearm safely. (That would definitely suck, especially after I just got running my mouth in here.). But regulations aren't going to make that go away. If you don't believe that, go out driving sometimes and see some of the crazy stuff other drivers do. Driving is a government sanctioned activity and people still die from it every day.
My point is, if the range seems unsafe, don't go. Or use another range as has been suggested here already. We certainly don't need the government to swoop in and save us with more rules and regulations. Government rules and regulations takes away our freedom and I want to limit how much of my freedom they can have.
