Stimulus money

Postby BlackEagl on Wed May 07, 2008 2:36 pm

Well, I just helped to stimulate the economy, AND exercise my right to keep and bare arms all at the same time!

Picked up my DPMS Sportical today!

Part of mine went to an obscenely powerful scope for my Saiga and some more of it went to a new monitor so I can view gun porn in a higher resolution.

Case price for Rem greenbox FMJ, $110/500, plus tax. Unreal. Next step will be reloading 9mm.

That ship sailed for me about 20 years ago....

Now people are starting to get the reasoning behind reloading.

I've reloaded for a long time, now. When you shoot odd calibers, like I do, you have to. Last year, I started reloading .40. It just boggles me that now I pretty much have to for even 9mm!

Did you get the billet version? If so, you'll probably want to match it to a Mega lower too, since they are really dark in finish and look weird with other brands (if you care about that kind of thing).

Either way, it's a good brand, just get good internals (I like LMT).
