PTC cost in BE county

Postby philly1911 on Wed May 30, 2012 11:27 am

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find it doing a search.

How much does the PTC cost in Blue Earth county? Have to take a class yet just trying to budget it all out. Thanks for any help or advice you all can give me, Mike.

The most the sheriff can charge you is $100.00. And most likely will!

Gonna call when I get a chance, just wanted to see if it was the same for everybody or if it just depends on what kinda mood they're in that day, ha ha.

And Blue Earth County does take checks.

Hi all, I intend to turn in my paperwork (and check) for ptc tomorrow afternoon. Can anyone tell me definitively where to go to do that? I have it all here (downloaded and printed) so all I need to do is hand it to someone. But the leo places have changed recently. There's the new fancy place back by Lowes, or the other place over by Victory Bowl kinda.

I am a resident of the city of Mankato.

Any help would be appreciated, so I don't drive around the roadwork more than I have to tomorrow. Thanks!

It's the Blue Earth County Justice Center that you have to go to, same building where the jail is located.

Good to know, thanks. I just got confused as the last time I renewed my permit to purchase (a few months ago) I went there, and they gave me the forms but had me go to the other place to turn them in. I dunno why.

No problem. Yeah it's all kinda messed up in town with all of the road construction going on. You know the old saying: There are two seasons in MN, winter and road construction. :D
The ptp goes to the Mankato PD if you live within city limits, if outside of them it goes to the county sheriff.

I will make the next Mankato breakfast if I am not working that Saturday. It seems like I have a class scheduled the same Saturdays and now that I may be working the range at Drive A Tank on some other Saturdays, don't look like I will have many Saturdays off.
