yeah, that's what was done. they updated the grips so they were more grippey, they updated the sights so they could be seen, they updated the magwell for ease of reloading, they updated the safety so they could be easily manipulated, they updated the frame by adding an accessory rail (arguably because an assualt handgun should have a light on it) and they updated the finish. well, the finish was probably just to catch the attention of the world with the tacticoolness of FDE and our current operations in various deserts (because that way the jihadists won't see the gun in your hand, only your hand)
Not exactly - there are cuts in the slide that were not on the original - there is this headlight attachment on the frame that was not there - there was heat treating that was done that was not on the MARSOC pistol - and the list goes on.
Painting a Pistol FDE is asking for problems.. STUPID..
Colt has no reputation left - hell they even lost the latest M4 Contract to REMINGTON (Thats DPMS to you guys) They lose this one - they are done.
