Problems with Federal, help?

Postby Xscream on Mon Aug 20, 2012 3:48 pm

I've never had an issue with Federal ammo but recently had a box of .223 that was blowing the cases apart (literally). I've contacted Federal several times, leaving messages on the 800 line listed website (and I've tried about 20 other numbers but none ring to a human). No word from anyone and its been over two weeks. I've always heard about the great customer service Federal has but I'm at a loss. Does anyone know how to get a hold of a human there? I'd be nice for them to figure out what's wrong and maybe even send me a new couple boxes of ammo to replace the stuff that I'm unwilling to shoot now. :?

Anyone here able to help?

Contact Federal, not only will thy make it right...but it's crucial they know what's going on. I work for a manufacturer and issues like this need to be brought to our attention ASAP.

What kind of a gun are you attempting to shoot them out of?
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

OMG, where to start? The first problem with federal help is all the strings attached. The 2nd is that their help usually costs more, takes forever, and their demands make no sense. Third...wait am I in the right thread???

Sorry, there isn't too much of an update yet. I am working with someone at Federal to get it resolved. There isn't a resolution yet, but we're working towards it. When it's all done I'll let you guys know.
