Lakes Trading Company in Forrest lake

I see it's mentioned here: viewtopic.php?t=9254

I've been working in Forrest Lake for the last week and saw the sign for this place while out to lunch. Anyone frequent this place? Haven't had time to check it out yet, but will probably be out there working for the next few weeks. Just thought I'd check and see if we had any Forrest Lake locals here who knew what they have in stock.

I used him for a ffl transfer 5 or 6 years ago at that time he had a small safe room in the back that he had his gun stock in.
I had the gun shipped to him and he did the paper work. If you go there report back and let us know how much he has expanded.
It seems to me he had a table at the last gun show in bethel when I went.

His inventory is growing and he is great to do business with. He has a F/T smith if you need work done. Ben Oliver is the owner and he's good people.

Nice. Thanks guys. Hopefully I get a chance to stop in. We've ate lunch next door at stewey's (which is AWESOME) a couple times this week. I'll have to convince the bossman to take a few extra minutes to check it out with me.

I visit the store a couple of months ago. Ben is a good guy and his store has more inventory than you'd think. It's brightly lit and he's accessible and easy going. I should have bought the Uzi he had for sale -- it was a good deal.

I stopped by and had them look over an old 1894 for me. Extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful guys, and wouldn't accept payment even though I offered.
