He does? I called and asked him about shortening an old Rem 870 shotgun barrel for me, and he had to be talked into "squaring" up the cut... I will pass

Keelers Gunsmithing is in Becker. You can call me there from 9-5 M-F and 10-5 on Sat. The # is 763-234-8004. We do everything in house and most projects are done in 2 weeks.
Talk to you soon,

Your funny you must be talking about someone else. He works on 2500+ guns per year. He has a great reputation

I've had a rifle worked on by this guy ... wasn't cheap, but the rifle's good as new!

Not sure 'bout the 30yr comment?! ... when I talked to him ... a year 'er two ago ... sounded like he was jest gettin' into it?! ... that said, he's no hack! ... right tools fer the job! ... if it was somethin' I couldn't do myself, I'd definitely see him, again!

... I dunno ... maybe if he started workin' on guns, when he was 8yr old?! Image

At first, I thought maybe he sold the business to 'nother guy ... but if that's the case, they got the same first name! :|

I've seen a handful of places online listing them in business since 2011. The owner/gunsmith also attended Anoka Tech from 2010-11 to get his machining certificate, so that at least matches the time frame.

I met him on a tour of the Boberg facility. He seemed a mite bit older than 38 ... but not 60. IDK him personally other than meeting him there. I know it's the gunsmith my dad uses and Dad has been happy with him (hence the OP recommendation ;-))
