Shooting the 100 yard range at oakdale free hand and then running down to check your targets while smoking a cigarette is also a good training aid for high stress scenarios. :lol: At least that was my stress fire scenario for deer hunting

And don't forget your trajectory changes in the cold! Here in MN, depending upon your desired level of precision you may have to have up to four sets of come-ups for your rifles.

Winter is my favorite time to shoot. The more inhospitable the better!

it was done in a blizzard. We got like 14" of snow that day.

At the farm we have a very steep 75 yard hill - up one side - down the other
I do not run distance but do H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training - the hill sprint is the perfect answer
