Shooting the 100 yard range at oakdale free hand and then running down to check your targets while smoking a cigarette is also a good training aid for high stress scenarios. At least that was my stress fire scenario for deer hunting
And don't forget your trajectory changes in the cold! Here in MN, depending upon your desired level of precision you may have to have up to four sets of come-ups for your rifles.
