HydroGraphics

Postby Swifty on Thu Dec 13, 2012 1:06 pm

Has anyone had any experience with HydroGraphics, also known as immersion printing, water transfer printing, water transfer imaging? I'm going to be doing some plastic grips.(make them into walnut grips). Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Here's some HydroGraphic pics. The possibilities are endless.

And here I thought there was no way a hi-point could be uglier.

Take a look at these first:

I will post pics when I'm done, even if I'm a failure. I have an extra grip for the gun so nothing ventured-nothing gained. :salute:

i dunno... this would be pretty cool to do, IMHO

it looks like all that would be needed is a big enough tub to dip everything in, a bunch of water, and oil based paints

My bow and crossbow are dipped (from the mfg), and I hear lots of good things about the process. Good luck!

Grips should be rather easy. Any specific questions do you have? If needed I can PM you my number and I can answer anything you need.
