Maybe we should look at this as a golden rule situation.... If I was laying on the ground and 8 vermin were kicking me in the fricking head, I would really appreciate it if one of the people who were willing to step in were around.

How many times do you hear about the diffrent street gangs squaring off ?? How many times do you hear a black youth or male is arrested with gun in the media?? You just dont hear about it but it happens every day and many times a day, but because they are a "protected class" you never hear about it

But if a white man tried to stop the violence that is the way they would put it So there would be a big risk to the person gettting involved getting it turned into a race issue

Maybe you don't hear about it because, as you said, it happens every day. Or maybe it's because, as you said here, "Unless it is a kid who gets shot or some one dies it is not worth the air time."

Race has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. You can't be charged with a hate crime in this case because defending the guy wouldn't have been a crime at all.

come up with..try to blindside the biggest one than go from there and hope for support from crowd.

Don't count on it - I would venture a guess that if one of "US" were there and actually shot one or more of the perpetrators in this incident or one that was similar, we would spend more time in the klink for saving someones bacon than these little #2's did for trying to KILL this guy (after sexually assaulting his daughter)

I would imagine that it would have taken a lot less than 10 days to hit the news........ Think on that for a minute.

On what basis are you stating that the father is white? All reports I've heard have been deliberately vague about identifying details of the victims including their race. Have you seen any report that states their race or is that just an (possibly subconsciously racist) assumption?

Well, actually under MN Law it wasn't a sexual assault:

..."sexual contact"... does not include the intentional touching of the clothing covering the immediate area of the buttocks.

I didn't make the law and I don't agree with it, but it is what it is.

Somewhere after the words stopped and the physical action was about to begin in this particular skirmish, I would agree that deadly force was probably justified. But purely in response to a slap on the butt, the law says otherwise.
