Been trying to find some official aft info... apparently quantity is not an issue, selling one would be, but one place suggests selling is OK if an FFL agrees to do a transfer...again this is NOT from the aft, and I have yet to find relevant info on their site.

Skip the below. I did enough reading to get the basic idea. I'll just watch and see if this happens.

So...I know so little I should hardly be allowed to ask. I am going to anyway.

What sort of cost would a build like this run? Would it be substantially cheaper than the normal AR (not the last week) cost? Is the benefit more in the "I made this" and not being registered?

Part of me wants an AR...part of me knows I don't know where I would get it out and use it.

I was thinking it would just be the machine work. The lowers would have to be painted or whatever before the lower parts kits can be installed I would think.
