Holy Smoley Rugersol. Nice Fiber Optic. Did you need more reach for those big hands to put that three hole trigger in?
Got any pics of the grip safety?

I don't think I can afford to!

You could try going to the Gunstop and chatting with Larry. All of the gun guys around the metro are great, but he is a one guy
shop and I believe that he is as honest as the day is long. He will answer your questions, and let you hold different guns.
Good luck to you, and I hope that you find the perfect 1911.
I have dealt with Gunstop before, and I have bought a few from them in the past, them and Frontiersman are my primary places when I am going to buy or after what I know i want. Both of my Kel-Tecs were purchased from Gunstop. SO Larry now owns it alone, I had heard it closed and re opened.

You ARE Lost, Tiny202 - That Para P14.45 came from Larry at Gunstop AFTER he reopened on December 1st, minus the Cocobolo grips. I mostly went over to say Hi and let him pet Sasha, but a hicap SS 1911 is one niche that was empty in my collection of Seismic pistols, and when he said $700, and it looked ANIB to me, and the trigger was almost as good as my Guncrafter, I bought it.
BTW, I bought my 50GI from Larry in the 1st year Guncrafter was around, and Larry let me represent myself as an employee and send the check to Alex Zimmerman myself, and I paid Larry whatever it was for the FFL transfer when the gun showed up, so I got it for dealer cost. Larry always has Pupperoni in the store for Sasha...
Sawgrass: PM me when it comes in, and I'll stop down with my 50 GI AND Sasha, and you can compare the two guns. Your will look very spiffy compared to mine, which has ZERO bling factor. When I first got it it looked like it had been perfectly machined out of a single lump of coal. The finish on the front lines of the slide is showing a little holster wear, but it's just barely a lighter shade of black.
