As for Alex Jones. I've listened and watched his stuff for many many years. He's been right. Sure he's a bit loud, but he's been right.

I agree with that. His points are valid, but many will not hear his message because of the presentation of it. He should have taken the opposite expected approach of going off and instead been calm, cool, collected, and present a 1:1 factual counterpoint to each and every one of Pier's complaints.

That's the problem with Alex Jones in a nutshell.

Agreed.

Alex had a chance to make a difference, instead he ended up just being a tool for Morgan to use and to further discredit Alex Jones or those who expound his facts and agree with him. It makes the rest of us look like nutjobs too. It's right up there with someone whop tries to present facts and starts out with " I read on Wikipedia that...." :rolls eyes:" - I look at them and say "Really? You are really using Wikipedia as a viable and legit source? You just lost all credibility with me. End of story." Even if what was on Wikipedia was true, the source cannot be trust....and it's now going to really be the same for Alex Jones. Morgan KNEW how Jones was going to react. It was an easy button push.

Alex Jones is his own worst enemy and he did more damage than good. He needs to shut up if he can't control himself. Furthermore, I don't want someone who can't control their emotions speaking for responsible gun owners.

Ted is too die-hard Republican and extreme in some ways for me, but on this, he's dead on.

I doubt that Morgan can really understand the value of the 2nd amendment since he country lacks one.

If we didn't have guns, we'd end up like Canada, not the United States, because the Revolutionary War couldn't have happened. We defeated the biggest and baddest military force on the face of the Earth at the time.... England. This is because we the people are the power and the gun allowed us to wield that power with the force of the gun.

i caught quite a bit of it....he really lost it when he started talking in the english accent and called Piers a redcoat. Piers has a right to his opinions, but i wouldnt mind if he really ended up getting deported.

I was on to this horses ass long before his attack on our 2nd amendment.

Jones simply isn't a debater. He said all the right things, but he's best skilled at inciting emotion in his base on the radio show he controls. I think he tried to continue that in the PM interview as the show's guest. I think if he was trying to look attractive to those not as committed or who are undecided on the issue, his style wasn't the best fit for that venue/format. I was disappointed when he started the accent, it kind of made Piers look like "the adult"... Piers's used to irritating his guests and controlling himself.

Piers needs to go.

Tonight Piers had on Joshua Boston, the marine who wrote that letter to Dianne Feinstein about taking his guns. He did a nice job of presenting a calm articulate case for not needing more gun control. I hate to say it but i have been watching way too much Piers recently and this was by far the best pro-gun argument i have heard since CT on his show.

Alex Jones had a great opportunity to use his air time to make some good points which i think he could have made had he presented them better. But instead he goes off the deep end looking like a complete lunatic, taking it too far, acting immature and out of control. He helped the anti-gun cause instead of helping it.

Alex is all about Alex. He probably gained legions of followers just doing what he always does. He's a one trick pony. But his base is growing faster every day.

I used to follow infowars.com ..... Then got bored with it....not a huge fan of AJ but he says a lot of things that I believe to be true and I saw his verbal bashing of Puke Morgan.....he did what had to be done. After seeing Puke steamroll his other guests, overtalking them and using his ridiculous tactics.....I think AJ had no choice but to address him exactly as he did. He hit several valid points for our side , with passion that most lack. It was entertaining. It's the only effective way to bust thru the nonsense CNN has been allowing this guy to spew against our rights. I only wish our politicians had half of AJ's passion to fight for our rights. Reading his bio last night online & I can't believe that AJ is only 38 yrs old, he looks mid 50's....

He can stay off my side. Nutjobs that act like stupid rabid dogs do not influence anybody who counts (aka "the middle"). And if he is the spokeman/face/brand for gun rights we are doomed.

Why he looks so old? It's the price of being a fat, indulgent, egomaniac, nutcase. Get some sleep, lay off the junk food, loosen up the tin foil hat, go for a walk.

So the white house has responded to the petition to deport this numb nutz......
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/01/white-house-responds-to-piers-morgan-petition/

Small quote:
In his response, Carney underscored that “the Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press – fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy.”

If you feel that way, Why in the HELL do you feel its appropriate to protect the 1st to the bitter end but not the F'ing 2nd?! :x :x :x :x :x :x

.....Most Americans, me included, are what you might consider fat , maybe even indulgent ......i do so like me some thick ribeyes w/ taters & gravy!! ....I'm grilling them right now, as I type this msg......but I managed to age a bit better than AJ somehow. most folks figure my age 8-10 yrs younger than I am.

......I'll still say that what AJ did is exactly what needed to be done with Puke Morgan. AJ has been far more effective in his sit down with that british feller than anyone else I've seen......everyone else, except for Nugent has just let CNN's puppet run them over with nonsense and make a mockery of our 2nd amendment. nugent just didn't get out as much passion or have as many facts to throw at him.
