I don't get youtube tags, either... its not just you.

Well of COURSE Great Britain has lower gun deaths, as they don't have guns! Their citizens are simply killed by other things. If a country were to ban, I dunno, chainsaws, they'd have no chainsaw injuries/deaths, but they'd probably just transfer that risk to injury/death by axe. taking away a tool does not take away the motive.

A friend of mine asked if I was worried about my guns with children in the future, or the safety of myself/wife with guns around.

I said sure I am...but that is where education and responsibility comes in...if you dont want to be in a car accident, dont drive.

Yeah, you can't promote self-responsibility and accountability. The Guv'ment needs to protect people from themselves and any remote possibility that may or may not ever happen. ;)
