Either way, I see where this discussion is going and really don't care to get into a 10 page argument over it.

My position is clear, stealing is wrong. Whether you dislike the guy or not. If you guys think otherwise, you're entitled to your opinion, also. I digress.

I don't disagree that theft is wrong, regardless of the context or relationship of the property or the victim.

But if you leave your brass laying on the ground when you finish shooting, you can't accuse someone who picks it up of being a thief, as you have relinquished control and ownership of it.
Similarly, If I click directly on a youtube video, vs a link on a gun board, the results are potentially the same.

I agree. What's the difference if I watch the video he posted, or the copy of it you posted, as long as you are not reselling it to me, he hasn't been harmed or deprived by anything you did.( he managed that on his own)

He made the video and released it for public viewing. Not for public reproducing. There was no download button on his YouTube page. It's the exact same deal as radio stations playing songs. People can listen but are not free to record. Same with movie rentals, NFL games, etc.[/quot
's
Regardless of what you think about stealing, it still does not change the fact that he is a moron... If he didn't want people to "steal" it, maybe he should have recorded it and then saved the tape, DVD, flash drive, or whatever so he and his GLOCK buddies can sit down and talk about how cool he looks.

GRRRRR Tactical Response!!!! Bad Ass MOFO!

@sgruenhagen44

I get what you're saying.... but as I pointed out, you can't view content online. Likewise, if he put it on YouTube, he distributed it. Yes, it's his to do with as he sees fi; but the days of Steve-Jobs-Control over data never really existed and any perception it ever did exist, I think is long since over. Even Joe Blow Non-Technical User knows that to be true.

Once it's out there, be it on DVD, CD, the Internet, it WILL be copied. Do I own my writings? Of course. Do I want to get paid for them? Of course. Will I on every one, every time, by everyone? Of course not. That's life. I deal with it. If I don't want it copied, I shouldn't release it.

Looks like Mr. Yeager got what's coming to him. The guy posts threats on the web and doesn't expect consequences? I can't wait to see his next video.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

This is great stuff right here:

According the Tennessee Department of Safety, Yeager is not a certified instructor. When asked about that, he said he allowed his license to expire.

The state also said Tactical Response is not a department-certified school.

Yeager served as police chief of the town of Big Sandy, TN, about a decade ago. The former mayor said Yeager is intelligent and a crack shot, but he thought Yeager's plan to start a SWAT team wasn't what the quiet town of 500 people really needed, so the mayor fired him.

What's the phrase? "Operator keep on operating"

Part three...with his attorney next to him. Quite an attitude change with his legal representation next to him.

I hope we don't see another news story of him carrying after his permit was suspended.
