Well said! While I like to support small/local business, they have to earn my dollars. Either through service, price, shopping experience, convenience, etc. Also, almost all large retail corporations started as small businesses as well (Walmart, Best Buy, whatever). At what point do they get 'too big' to patronize? Is Fleet Farm, a family owned business of 30+ stores part of problem? I hope not, I love that place.[/quote]
I help run a organization that gives toys to childern in the hospitals over Christmas Holiday period, Not only does Mills Fleet Farm have the the best day in day out price on toys (even Cheaper than Targets sale prices) the owners have been VERY generous to my cause! They are fine people that have done well, and live in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Not like the owners of Home depot or Lowes!
