Yes I have one and use it regularly for dry-fire drills and general trigger control actions as described by the other poster. The custom caliber ones (LT-9 etc) are good but somewhat prone to switch issues. Mine is currently in for repair at Laserlyte however it has several thousand dry-fires on it so far. When the trigger is pulled, they light up your target for about 1/10th of a second.
I would rate them very good, but occasional issues reported by users drops the rating down from excellent. You don't need to matching target which is pretty pricey. The ones that go in the barrel are sound activated instead of firing pin actuated.
