U.S. may be heading in this direction?

Postby solidsnake556 on Thu Feb 07, 2013 1:45 am

Apparently it's illegal to defend yourself in Canada. Man wakes up to an explosion, went to investigate and found 4 criminals throwing firebombs at his house. Man went to dial 911 but phone didn't work, with no other option he grabbed his pistol and shot at the criminals. He was charged. Court wanted to make an example out of him, to put the fear into gun owners that they are not allow to defend their lives.

Yes let the authorities do their job and write a report after you are a victim.
Now be a good sheep and keep your head down and continue grazing.

It will get that way here as we experience social decay with lawless armed gangs spreading havoc on an unarmed populace.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

It's pretty clear the goal is to create chaos on PURPOSE to support the expansion of government.

Does that happen a lot here? Most of what I see are white males loosing their mind on either their wife or mother.

Here? Not as much.

In other parts of the country? In a sense. Two words: flash mobs.

Crime has dropped rather dramatically over the past 30 years. Decay isn't exactly the proper word for that.

I'd argue that decay has nothing to do with crime rate, but that's a completely different discussion.

The national crime rate has dropped dramatically, yes. There are certain parts of our nation where the crime rate is still significantly higher than in other parts, and in those higher crime areas the crimes themselves have gotten "worse."

You're going to have to quantify this "decay" thing then, because as I look out across America, we're doing pretty damn good. Productivity and per capita GDP is at all time highs, and crime continues to drop.

I just don't see any decay. Maybe it's the prevalence of information that we didn't have in the past that's the problem? If it's unseen and unreported, it doesn't exist?

Try looking at some pics of Detroit or certain areas in East St Louis.
There are plenty of places in any major city where you do not dare walk. Take a ride thru N mpls and tell me you wouldn't worry for your personal safety!

In the larger framework, I believe this is all the beginning of accomplishing the UN Agenda 21 (for 21st century, long range goal). Read it on the UNs web site, then look at how their small arms treaty is preparation to accomplish agenda 21. Please prove me wrong, I do not want to be right about this observation. Remember, there's 87 more years to accomplish the goal.

So, those places are worse today than they were 30 years ago?

You're talking decay.

LOL! As I said, criminals are going to have more rights than law abiding citzens because we are easier to "control".

Seems like a generality. Most crime in N MPLS is race on race. That is true in general around tr country.
