Weird.

I don't see anyone chastising him because his posts are too lengthy. I see people chastising him because with great regularity his behavior is that of a know-it-all newb horse's ass. When he was a child someone forgot to teach him that the reason we have two ears and only one mouth is so that we can listen twice as much as we speak. Somehow he instead decided that since he has ten fingers he should type about five times more than he has actually learned with his two ears (or eyes, in the case of reading a knowledge base or forum).

I'm sure that he's learned a lot since he first picked up a gun that long, long 12 months ago, but one thing he definitely hasn't learned is when he should sit tight and read instead of spouting off about topics he knows little to nothing about. Of course, this is the inturwebz, so he's entitled to act a fool as much as he pleases, he just shouldn't be surprised when no one has any respect for him because of it.

Yes, yes - we get that you and XDM are pals. It's not our fault that your pal is super-annoying.

What exactly do you want to see on here? This is the Internet, not the Library of Congress...

..and teh Internetz is serious bizness ya'all!

If I'm annoying, it's because that you've chosen to create that feeling within yourself, so don't blame me for your choice to be annoyed. I don't have control over your emotions, so don't blame me for them. Likewise, if someone tells me to "eff off and die" I can either blow it off, smile and be happy, or get really pissed. No matter what, I own the emotions I choose to create within myself. So what I'm telling you applies to me, to you, to everyone else in the World. No one can create an emotion in another person.

I wholly admit that I created the upset feelings I have within myself over Brownell's actions (or inactions, depending how you want to look at it.)

Yup, owned a gun for a year, but been around them much longer.
Know-it-all, nope. Hardly, but you are entitled to your perception and opinion.

Same as the newb horse's ass and fool, your opinion. I'm mine, you're an a-hole. Whoo hoo! YEAH US!! Meh. Whatever. My opinion doesn't matter to you just as yours doesn't matter to me. I only reply to your posts because you reply to mine and you get so hot n bothered about it, it's funny. Man, if I really did try to troll, this place would be a source of infinite humor. I'[m just one guy expressing my opinion, same as everyone else here.

Maybe one day when I've owned guns for decades I can be as snarky as some of you, but don't hold your breath because even if I swallowed a case of Viagra, I couldn't be as big of a dick as some people on here.

Brownells is a fantastic company to deal with. I've been buying from them for over 20 years. The fact that they didn't jack up their prices during the madness speaks well for them. If part of a order was wrong, and they were the reason they always fixed it at their cost. Not mine. I had mags on order for 2 months, finally got them. Yeah I got the email about the order mix-up also. A week and a half later there is a box at my door. Brownells will take care of you, with the resources they have. Look at all the vendors who won't even answer the phone, or others who won't except orders over the internet. Everyone is having problems with the volume of sales and the panic. Things will clear up and you will get the same great customer service Brownells is known for. :poundon: .

Unlike most mail order places, The CMP actually has the stuff, but they're 3-4 months behind in filling orders. Not weeks.... months. I think that shows how crazy the market is right now. They've been a pleasure to work with, and that helps.

I ordered 10 30 Round Pmags from Brownells middle of December, 2012. I got the same email stating 300 orders had been moved to the front of the line. So I said ok, i'll wait a little longer, and finally I called and asked about my order. The lady on the other end was very courteous, asked my order number and date, and told me they were still filling the December orders and that I should receive mine soon. I got them within 2 weeks. In retrospect I wish I wish I would have ordered 30 or 40 of them.

I was very happy with my service there.
