Yeah, me either.... but someone is.

Alas, I have to work though and have no "friends" at the gun stores near me that can set aside ammo.
MECRA - don't complain too much - I tried to sell you up to 3300 rounds of 5.56 ammo at a highly reasonable price, except that you didn't want to have to re-zero your rifle to my 55 grain from your enormous stash of 62 grain ammo.
You don't have friends for a reason. You are a "selective hoarder". This is not a personal attack, just a recommendation for you to broaden your requirements to better fit your needs. And if you had 55 grain ammo maybe someone would trade 62 grain ammo with you, a friend perhaps that would assist you with future trades.
The 2400 rounds of 62 grain in my inventory is SOLD to a friend who is currently deployed. It will stay stored in my inventory until he wants it after returning home. It may be in MY inventory, but it is not mine, as it has been paid for in advance.
Wow, you are even more an ass than I originally thought. I didn't buy your ammo and you resort to personal attacks against me??? 800 rounds isn't "selective hoarding" as some people will shoot that in a weekend. I didn't want your ammo because I didn't want to waste money buying a grain that I'm not going to primarily shoot, and I wasn't going to "hoard" it from someone else who may have wanted it. Please, it sounds like you need to get out more because you have an incredible lack of understanding of people and their motives. All the more reason to avoid your, "deals" in the future. You sounded suspicious before and you've confirmed it more now.
and just to clarify, you said you could sell me two packs of rounds, not 3300 rounds. That's 600 rounds, if you could do math. 800 rounds isn't an enormous stash and I told you that when I emailed you. ANd I don't have friends in "stores" you moron. I have friends outside of "stores". Man, I need to stop writing as you aren't even worth the waste of internet space.

Since I only shoot .22LR and .45ACP right now, those are the ones I was talking about, thus those are the ones I searched for.

Feel free to buy quantities online. They are available.
Like I said, buy it online.

It appears I struck a nerve with that last jab - IF you would advertise that you WANT OR NEED 62 grain ammo only, that would have stopped the transaction immediately. You have another post here elsewhere looking for 200-300 rounds, again you failed to state you wanted 62 grain only(i'm sure you will change it now). Who else are you going to lead on and then dump after stating only 62 grain? I held ammo back from others when you said you wanted more ammo, resulting in lost sales for me and the post was Locked. I'm a little upset, but will sell to others more respectful.
Thank you to ALL who KNOW me, have dealt with me in the past, have been trained for reloading by me, or have received "gifts" from me, FOR BACKING ME UP ON THIS TOPIC. It is much appreciated. For those who don't know me yet, well, there's still time to form your own opinion.
Have a good day EVERYONE !!
Who needs 55 grain 5.56X45 ammo?
or 7.62X51 loose in ammo can ammo?
I had two buyers backout (1 failed to show at pre-arranged meet).

mecra wrote:I never posted at that time that I was looking for ammo. I PMed you and when you told me that it was 55gr, I eventually changed my mind before out meet as I didn't want to re-zero. (Which I stated to you.) My recent ammo post was AFTERWARDS.
You also only told me you had two bags of ammo so if you saved more, you didn't tell me and that's your loss. If you have ammo at a good price, you will have no problem selling it. That makes me believe you are involved in shady business if you are so concerned about selling it.
Finally, in the PMs, I was very respectful. It was after I declined the meetup that you got an attitude as if I was causing you a disservice.
For everyone else, I would avoid this guy. If you cancel, he cops an attitude in PM and then gloats to you about the ammo he sells afterwards. (Even though I politely declined the meetup and told him the reason for passing on the ammo.) He has a terrible attitude and has been making things up since the start to try and save his rep.

You may want to check Capra’s. They seem to have .22lr on hand quite frequently lately.

Until you have a few more transactions under your belt or have in some positive way contributed to the community I would avoid casting stones at someone who has a reputation as a good trader, reloading mentor to a number of forum members, and recently donated 5000 rounds of .22 LR to help the local boy scouts.
Response or Rebuttal:
1. That response was totally correct.
2. True, as I stated above. This is a different subject.
3. Some is sold already. Two others are considering the last 5 battlepacks.
.. I am not in a business.
4. I must apologize to you, please understand I don't want to sell the ammo, but with medical bills stacking up and a car that needs repair, having any sale fall apart causes me hardship at this time.
5. I feel this was not called for. But you are not in my situation, so you would not understand. Yes, I have ups and downs, I hope they even out. I may piss some people off, but many more appreciate my efforts in this community.
Let's BOTH drop this subject - we BOTH are getting emotionable with our responses, and they are not constructive.
If I must, I admit defeat, but let's get back to a constructive manner without threadjacking the original intent of this topic.
Enough said.
