I would postulate that a criminal breaking into only homes of people who are known to own guns in the Norfolk/VA Beach area is not long for this world. Eventually he will enter the wrong door and not survive the encounter.

I can see both sides of this one - intelligent criminals (as oxymoronic as that may be) could use NRA stickers and the like to help form targets and whatnot, but the really smart ones would figure out you own guns anyway, and plan a robbery for a time when you're not home...

The ones that would notice an NRA sticker and try to rob the house for guns without making sure nobody's home are Darwin award nominees in the making though.

I guess I don't see the harm, but I can see the benefit of not advertising as well.
