I dont' know if they were in the flyer. I was just guessing that the reason why they had ammo sales during the last 3 mo could have been that the flyers are printed well in advace.

For example:
WPA .223 was on sale for $4.2x per box of 20.
Rem Thunderbolt .22LR was on sale for $1.xx, I think $1.9x, per box of 50.

You have been much luckier than I then. I have not seen any .22 at FF for 3 months and I have been checking weekly.

It was a fake email - the CCI plant in Idaho is just fine, and the EPA hasn't told them to do anything.

Don't believe everything you read on the Intarwebs.

That's obvious! Why would you quote me then make that statement.

About 6 weeks at FF in Blaine on a Sat morning - they had a few cases of CCI 22lr (500) for $19. Was able to get one and within 3 minutes, they were all gone.

About 3 weeks ago my brother was able to get a bucket of 1400 22lr Federal at Scheels for $60.

So it's out there - just have to keep looking.

This is not the first place I have heard this. In truth I think that we as gun owners and especially the " I bought a gun because it seemed like a good idea but don't know how to use it group" are responsible for the shortage. I go into Dick's today and there is nothing on the shelf. I mean nothing, How many people shoot 35 Remington? I do because its my grandfathers deer rifle. its all gone because every one freaked and grabbed it all. the 22lr really pisses me off though. How am I going to go to the range and blow off a value pack of 22lr when I can't get it. That was the hole point of 22 for me. (amendment. the biggest reason to get a P22. I have 3 22lr rifles and I love them.)
