My son turns 21 tomorrow. He will apply for his ptp on Monday. Today, we put 50% down on a Berreta M9A1. He'll pick up the gun when the ptp comes through. He tested a lot of stuff before the M9 settled into his hand and he smiled.

Geeze, I rmember when he and I would do a head butt after he crawled down the hallway to me with a goofy ass smile on his face.

You can apply prior to turning 21. I was handed my PTP on my 21st B-day - much to the surprise of the clerk. Law only states you must be to receive, not to apply. ;) Then I drove straight to Bill's and bought the wrong gun. A taurus vesion of your beretta - he made the better choice. Congrats!

Congratulations!
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

I gotta admit, the beretta felt damn good in my hand. May relegate the glock 23 to a backup in a few months.

Congrats! I'm sure he will enjoy the new Beretta M9.

Wow that is a very quick turnaround. Hope he enjoys his Beretta! I got mine in about a week and thought that was fast.

My daughter is 8 months old, I find myself wondering what her 21st birthday gift will be :)
Hopefully she's a 1911 girl!

21st?

Make it her 18th. It's legal.

Enjoy these early times with her. They go by too fast. Still remember the first time I held my son. The first thing I said to him was "Work is the path integral of F dot ds.". He screamed. Turned out ok though. Not too damaged.
