Even if it didn't have the slide-serrations, I don't think they could fit "Government" on there?!

Anyone have any experience with a Rock Island Armory 1911 9mm? I just found those online but I don't think anyone in the metro carries them

I've got a 3in .45 Rock Island ... I've had to do quite a bit of work to it, to get it to run right ... but, I bought it several years ago ... and it sounds like the newer ones don't have the same issues?!

Bill's at one point may have had some but they do not right now, anyone else know where one is or want to sell one

So I went around today and after having piss poor customer service at capra's and gm having nothing that peaked my interest I went to ff and bought the Arcus 98DAC. So far I really like it, came with 2 13rd mags and a bore stick. Cleaned all of the old packing grease off and re-oiled it and now I can't wait to hit the range.

I'm anxious to see how it works for you. I'll be putting 100 through it tomorrow (Friday, which, I guess is actually today. I just got back from taking the Benman to Ironman 3, so I'm a bit turned about) to make it 1,000. Not a big deal, but a bit of a landmark. The 2nd thou. will involve NO cleanings - just 1,000 115gr. pills chased out by 1,000 med. loads of Bullseye. That should slop her up good.

I may next time but I already picked up the Arcus 98DAC. I was also able to order 300rds of 9mm online that's already shipped and picked up a 250 pack of 9mm this weekend.
