Fun to look. I live too far away from Gunstop and I don't think Thunderjohn would like me over at his house once a week looking over what he has.

I don't.. I used to before I knew better. The only time I ever stop in there is when the wife wants something on the way up north. Like Gladcorn...

Before I bought my Sig C3 with crimson trace from Joe's, I ran up to Gander with the thought of just feeling a few different pistol's. At the time I was up in the air with what I really wanted, I knew I like the C3 (1911 guy here), but wanted to give all the polymer options a fair shake. Joe's didn't have all the different models that I wanted to look at, so I knew Gander had a larger selection, and that I would have a chance to "feel" a few more on my list.

Well I went to Gander, and they did have a few more that I wanted to look at, only issue was I couldn't find ANYONE to help me. There was one guy at the gun counter helping another customer, and then a bunch of others just walking in and out of the back, no one would help. And they did have the same Sig C3 in the case, WITHOUT the crimson trace it was 1,229.00 the one at Joe's WITH the crimson trace was 999.00

True story.. LOL

Shop where you want, do what you want. Personally I tell everyone I know looking for firearm's and related products to shop else where.

Really JJ? I hope your not talking to me. I asked to "please" stay on topic. I did not say hey @SShole stay on topic. Do you have a problem with me asking to "please" stay on topic? Do I really deserve a GFY from you and a "rude noob" from 45badger? I did not mean any disrespect to thunderjohn by asking to "please" stay on topic.

/sarcasm/

The interwebz is serious business. Heaven forbid someone address another area in which Gander likes to make some some money.

If that were the case, and I wanted another 9mm, I would pricematch and buy it there. No one else has ammo that cheap.

Gander may be a bit over priced; but at least they have some stuff in stock, and cheaper than gunbroker. Most of the ammo I have is from gander; simply because it was in stock.

Less than 25 cents per round? Too bad I haven't seen any there in a long time. Last ammo I saw was at Fleet farm, and it was less...and it was January.

The prices on Walmarts shelves are cheaper, too bad there's no ammo to go with them.

Ammo at L&M doesn't even make it to the shelves... limit 4 boxes to customer... prices up anywhere from 30-60%. And it only last 2 days...

Pretty sure Walmarts cheapest is Rem. 250 packs at 28 cents per round. ($69.95). Few times per month I get lucky and do find some. But, I stop at 3 Walmarts at least once (often twice) per week.

Do things like this in the future to circumvent the word filter and you will get a vacation from this forum. Your official warning is coming.

Must have been He bought it. I'm talking ammo prices here not gun prices. Stay on topic please.

I thought I was on topic.
You were talking about a guy buying a gun at GM and asked about ammo.
Sorry.
